Solar heat stores

Heat storage tanks are a revolutionary, new technology and when coupled with Solar Heating Panels can reduce gas or oil consumption by as much as 70%

  The heat store is a latent energy storage system ideal for domestic and commercial use which will effectively improve boiler efficiency and maximise the solar gain from Solar Collectors.

Improved Boiler Efficiency :

 

90 % of all heating systems are operating at an inefficient range which means that systems cycle on and off 30 – 40,000 times per year, this leads to high energy consumption, soot production from flue gases and increased wear on the system.

Integration of heat storage tanks reduce the number of cycles to 3 – 4,000 ( dependant on boiler type ) thus achieving a substantial increase in boiler efficiency.

Store Now Use Later :

 

Solar heat stores also allow for the installation of larger than normal solar collection systems as excess heat can now be stored and used later.
